Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative Corporation (AVECC) is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperative headquartered in Ozark, Arkansas, delivering safe, reliable, and affordable energy to rural and suburban communities across the River Valley region.

Founded in 1937 by farmers and businessmen from Crawford, Logan, and Johnson Counties, AVECC began with just 57 miles of line energized in December 1938.

Today, it has grown significantly, maintaining over 6,900 miles of line and serving more than 63,000 electric meters—approximately 58,900 residential, 4,700 commercial, and 50 industrial customers—across 11 counties in western Arkansas and 3 in eastern Oklahoma.

AVECC adheres to the traditional seven cooperative principles, including voluntary and open membership, democratic member control (one member, one vote), and concern for community.
